Dena Jane is the Illustrator, Brand Designer, and Meditative Guide behind By Hand Designs. I believe in the power of design to transform businesses and connect with people on a deeper level. I'm not just a designer; I'm a creative partner who sees the value in your offerings and helps guide you in sharing them in a real, honest, and consistent way.

By Hand was created in a mobile sprinter van outfitted as a home and design studio. We’ve been living and traveling in our mobile design studio for 5 years, living and soaking up inspiration across the lands. We are ever-inspired by the views out our back door as they shift from soothing ocean waters, to desert sands filled with curious critters, to awe-inspiring mountaintops.

In our design process, we always start with deep Strategic Exploration to get the Brand, Unearth Your Values, Define Your Target Audience, Find Clarity & Meaning, own Your Distinction in your branding
The third step in our design process is Alignment & Visioning to validate our strategic and visual findings and then get right into creative exploration with your custom hand-drawn branding designs
The last step in our process is the Design Execution. Our creative Exploration leads to custom design direction which then receive feedback before your designs are packaged up for File Hand-off & Delivery.
