About Our Work With Sawdust & Embers
I had the pleasure of creating with Sawdust & Embers, a Texas-based company on a mission to intentionally craft original scents that tell timeless stories. Our work together focused on creating custom illustrations for their new candle collection, Folklore.
The Folklore collection is a beautiful blend of southwestern motifs and otherworldly exploration. Our goal was to create custom illustrations that would embody ancient stories of the natural world and connect them to our modern lives. We wanted the visuals to feel both ancient and contemporary, rich with texture and imaginative storytelling. I created a series of designs, experimenting with intriguing compositions to capture the unique spirit of each scent.
Each illustration was designed to inspire, soothe, and transport you on a journey back in time, all while complementing the collection's rich, earthy scents. This collaboration was an opportunity to bring my artistic vision to a product that celebrates nature, storytelling, and the art of hand-crafted goods. I'm so proud of the final result and can't wait for you to experience the Folklore collection in your own homes.
